Amazing Print Tech Explains Why Web-to-Print is a Must for PSPs in the Wake of COVID

TORONTO, December 4, 2020 – Amazing Print Tech, the York-Toronto based leading software provider of all things print, discusses why web-to-print software is so critical for printers during the pandemic.

Economic forces are beginning to reawaken amid the relaxation of quarantine restrictions and the re-opening of businesses. However, the effects of quarantine have taken their toll, leaving businesses across all industries figuring out how to recover revenue. The buyer mindset has also been changed by COVID, and businesses are recognizing that they must adapt their operations accordingly.

Joe Montalbano – Co-CEO – Advertek Printing says, “When you optimize your web-to-print, the rest of your business is going to increase.”

In the print industry, there is a growing need to reduce the costs of operation, a heightened significance to having a digital presence, and an increased value for being able to access information from anywhere in the post-quarantine landscape. For these reasons, many print providers have been evaluating and utilizing Web-to-Print solutions to maximize their efficiency and revenue recovery.

According to Tim Turcotte, Ex-VP Operations, KKP Canada, “Web-to-print is simple, easy to use and efficient.”

Web-to-Print allows printers to provide self-service options for their customers. These solutions can be made available through highly-customizable websites and portals – all without web designers and developers. Clients can place orders online, allowing printers to offer their services 24/7, keeping the revenue stream flowing more often.

Web-to-Print removes the geographical limitations of a traditional shop. The online aspect means that print companies have access to entirely new geographical markets across the globe. It also allows print businesses to reduce operating costs and improve client satisfaction – less employees are required, errors are reduced, and re-prints become less common. As a result, clients are happier, get their products quicker, and print companies increase their profits.

“Web-to-Print is becoming more of a necessity for print providers looking for new ways to generate revenue, simultaneously becoming more efficient, in the wake of the pandemic,” said Slava Apel, CEO of Amazing Print Tech. “It allows customers to purchase remotely, tap into more markets, and keep the business flowing.”

Amazing Print Tech Shares 5 Tips for a Painless Web-to-Print Software Implementation

TORONTO, December 08, 2020 – Amazing Print Tech, a leading provider of print products, services, and technologies, shares their tips for a smooth implementation of Web-to-Print software to help printers get up and running quickly.

While web-to-print software is important, the seamless and quick implementation of it is becoming crucial as printers seek financial recovery solutions in the wake of COVID. Customer self-serve solutions like W2P are a key way to keep the revenue streams flowing – and with revenue already lost, implementing that solution needs to be prompt.

“When you optimize your web-to-print, the rest of your business is going to increase,” says Joe Montalbano – Co-CEO – Advertek Printing. “I don’t mean 30% or 40%. I mean 1,000% or more!”

Here are Amazing Print Tech’s five tips for a painless W2P implementation:

Plan for training. Your team will not magically know how to use the new software, regardless of how “easy-to-use” or “user-friendly” it is. They need to be trained, so planning for this and allocating resources for it is important. Choosing a web-to-print software vendor that includes training quickly gets your team accustomed to their software and more efficient ways to spend their time.

Integrate with other software. For W2P to benefit your business, it needs to be integrated with your MIS or ERP and production workflow. Passing information between these systems automatically optimizes your workflow and reduces the chances of the costly errors from manual processes and date entry/re-entry. Many W2P solutions do not provide integration, leaving smaller print shops without the resources or technical know-how, to integrate W2P with other software by themselves. Choose a provider who has a track record of integration with your workflow and processes.

Set reasonable goals. Implementing W2P is a process. Set and commit to goals that align to your business model as well as your workload and commit to them. This ensures that your W2P implementation is not viewed as something that is installed and done with, squandering both your investment and your opportunity to drive revenue. This leads to the next point.

Collect data. It is important to collect data and run reports to monitor the health of your workflow and your web-to-print offering. Data collected will help pinpoint purchase trends, profitability, type of buyer, and customer satisfaction. Work with a vendor who can help you set up reports, spot inconsistencies, and help when it’s time to grow or add more options.

Market. Prospects and clients will not miraculously know about your new Web-to-print software. After all, the internet is a busy place. Marketing your W2P storefront lets prospects and customers know that it exists, and why it is helpful to them. Customer self-serve provides your clients with control over their buying process, something that more and more buyers prefer these days. Use this to your advantage when marketing your W2P storefront – let clients know they’re in control of their purchasing process. As well, look for a W2P software vendor that offers training to help you market your new self-serve options for a rapid ROI.

“Web-to-Print is invaluable in today’s COVID world,” said Slava Apel, CEO of Amazing Print Tech. “Quickly implementing self-serve solutions for customers is a way to keep business as usual. We’re sharing these tips to show how we’re helping clients all around the globe recover financially from the pandemic.”

Amazing Print Tech Shares How Web-to-Print is Re-Defining the Print Landscape

TORONTO, December 15, 2020 – Amazing Print Tech, a leading provider of software for imaging and print products, services, and technologies, discusses how web-to-print solutions are re-defining the print industry and challenging the way print interactions occur.

Over the past decade, a technological revolution has unfolded resulting in traditional manufacturing and buying processes to now largely be automated. Web-to-Print is altering the workflow and interactions of print providers, thrusting printers into Industry 4.0.

“Web-to-print solutions have fundamentally changed the way printers conduct business,” says Slava Apel, CEO of Amazing Print Tech. “It is becoming like e-commerce in many respects, with end-users able to order online from their phone, tablet or computer.”

Web-to-Print technology is re-defining the printing industry in these two key ways:

For Buyers. In today’s world, buyers expect a smooth, digital, fast, and automated buying experience over which they can exercise control. W2P has made it possible for the print industry to shift and provide this type of experience. Buyers can visit a W2P portal, customize and place an order, pay for it, and receive it quicker than ever. The buying process itself is immediate – everything is done through the W2P portal and within the buyer’s control. W2P has altered the way printers interact with customers by providing a seamless mobile experience, making it possible to place orders anywhere, anytime, from the device of their choice. In this way, W2P has enabled printers to target and service print buyers where they typically make purchasing decisions – online.

For Printers. With the advancement of W2P technologies, the print industry has witnessed an increase in reach, workflow efficiency, and ultimately profits. With the buying process occurring on the internet, printers are able to target buyers in previously unreachable geographical markets. When it comes to efficiency, all orders can be managed through W2P software and integrated with the company’s finance, shipping, CRM or other software. This means better project management, smoother operations, and quicker turnaround with no increase in manpower required. As well, when buyers place an order via a W2P portal, payment occurs instantly upon order confirmation. No more net-30 day invoices – profits are reaped more quickly!

“With web-to-print so advanced now, everything is done online, where the customer can decide every detail of their order,” says Slava Apel. “The print landscape is much different than it was 15 or 20 years ago. Customers have more freedom in their buying process and the turnaround is quicker. Printers can tap into more markets and produce orders faster with less human intervention. It really is amazing.”

Amazing Print Tech Explains How to Choose a Web-to-Print Software

TORONTO, December 22, 2020 – Amazing Print Tech, a leading provider of online software for print products, services, and print technologies, shares their tips on how to choose a Web-to-Print software that suits the needs of both print providers and print buyers.

The technological advances that have occurred in the print industry in the past decade has presented print providers with a wealth of new revenue streams. Increasingly, printers around the globe are implementing web-to-print software to stay competitive and fulfill new buyer expectations with a seamless ecommerce experience. According to Statista, ecommerce sales are expected to reach $4.9 trillion USD in 2021 – more than double the number in 2019. Choosing the right web-to-print software helps print providers deliver a seamless ecommerce experience and benefit from the ever-growing online market.

“With so many web-to-print options available, it’s very easy to end up with the wrong one,” says Slava Apel, CEO of Amazing Print Tech. “Choosing the right web-to-print software can be a difficult process. Knowing which questions to ask is an important first step.”

Here are Amazing Print Tech’s tips on choosing the right web-to-print software:

Ability to Handle Volume. To implement web-to-print software is to open up shop on the internet, which will increase your volume of new clients. It is crucial that the web-to-print solution (as well as your production team) can handle the increased volume within a small time-frame.

Ease of Use. This applies to both staff and clients – you’ll want a web-to-print software that is intuitive to use. W2P that has an easy-to-use interface provides clients with the fluid and smooth buying experience that’s expected in today’s world. This leaves your clients satisfied, and more likely to return to you for their print needs. On the internal side, a friendly W2P interface ensures easier adoption and that staff will be able to manage orders better and workflow is optimized, which means more production without more staff.

Features. Not all web-to-print software is created equal. Some have features that others don’t. It’s a good idea to evaluate each web-to-print solution in terms of whether your business needs or could use its features. Printers that deal with lots of business cards, for example, would benefit from a web-to-software that has a business card feature included.  If signage is the printer’s focus, look for that as a well-developed module.

Vendor Support. Choose a software from a vendor that cares about your business. Some vendors offer training – for staff, marketing your new software etc. – which can be invaluable. Vendor support can make a difference in how quickly your web-to-print portal is up-and-running, and how many prospects will end up seeing it on the internet.  Ask your vendor if modifications and improvements are possible in case your needs require more than out-of-the-box solutions.

“Web-to-print is critical in today’s print landscape, especially with the pandemic’s impact on buyer behaviour,” says Slava Apel, CEO of Amazing Print Tech. “Choosing the right W2P software can make the difference between profit and growth, and business failure.”
